UrmasUrmas Franosch has been teaching telemark skiing for over 20 years. He is a former member of the PSIA Nordic Education Team, and is currently the Nordic Chairman for the Western Region. His resume spanning three decades and two continents, includes instruction, coaching, and guiding in alpine, cross country, and back country skiing. In addition to offering lessons and workshops at his home area, Mammoth Mountain, he leads clinics at the Bear Valley Telemark Festival and the Kootenay Cold Smoke Powder Festival in Whitewater, BC.

Ingrid Wicken – Ski historian, author and director of the California Ski Library, Norco, CA

Ingrid has been a ski book collector since the 1980s. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Physical Education from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Her Master’s thesis was a biomechanical investigation of the diagonal stride on skis vs. roller skis. She has been an Associate Professor of Physical Education in the Riverside Community College District since 1989.
